As mentioned earlier, my recorder never rests, and this time around a German/Austrian band caught my attention, first due to their name, then I saw their performance and was flabbergasted to say the least.

It sure needs some balls to call themselves; My Baby Wants To Eat Your Pussy, but this band served the name right.
The long string of musical references I got while watching their live perfomance couldnt be summed up in a sentence, but let me toss some at ya for good measure; Zappa, Mr. Bungle, Bowie, heck, I could even say Sex Pistols and get away with it.

On the show I recorded they performed 3 songs, according to Jonathan from their managment they were about to upload the entire concert the coming days. Cant wait!

Till that happens, enjoy the songs I got…

Wonderland;

So Deep;

Dogs Run Riot;

EDIT:
And as steve pointed out in comment, their trailer should not be missed…

For more info on the band, check out their homepage, their myspace, some of the stuff they have made available on youtube or their profile on last.fm

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did, might be we get to see them perform at a stage near us soon!

Im an emotional man when it comes to music, I easily shed a tear when something moves me. Then there are those moments when you least expect to be moved, this clip made me cry like a baby. A little rough in the edges, but what can you expect from a cell-phone sales man. I throw all the good karma I have in store towards him, may his musical career be long and beautiful!

And he made it to the semi finals!!

And he won!!!

A little more info about the man

Thanx to Johnnie Fingers for the initial link, you my man made my day!

One of those pearls..

I record alot of live concerts, some I keep, others I remove after a quick skim/hear-through.
This one I kept ;)

Its a Peter Gabriel song called; ‘In your Eyes’, performed by Dianne Reeves at the Bern Jazzfestival in 2000.
The rest of the concert had a few moments, but this one stuck out. Uploaded the clip to YouTube, hope the involved parties wont mind.

Enjoy!

Xbox360+Wii bundle

| April 1st, 2007

MS representatives talked about it, many did the math on it, and now its soon to be out in a web shop near you. Komplett.no offers a bundle thats not currently in stock, but holds a X360 (w/ call of duty) & Wii with the freebie wii sports.
Its sold at the same price as the PS3(not in stock at the time of this posting)
Not a good deal on this bundle tho, you get it cheaper buying them seperately at Elkjøp fi.

There is 1 reason for me to eventually consider a PS3, the Gran Turismo serie. For now tho, all my gaming needs are filled with my current consoles. The Xbox is by far the most used, not due to gaming, but for the XBMC open-source project. Untill we have a good & reliable solution for homebrew on either of the nextgen consoles, I have no rush to get one.

If I should get a new console now tho, it would be a Wii, closely followed by a X360, the PS3 wont be taken into consideration till Polyphony Digital decide to release Gran Turismo HD, knowing their previous delays on that matter.. well, I guess 2008 will be a good year for us GT fans.

So whats your excuse for getting a PS3? Apart from the rare exclusive titles, why not get a X360+Wii bundle?

Kiss the Dino Day

| March 26th, 2007

adressa.no recently wrote a story about the “murder” snails. With the warmer winters, the D-day for the invasion of our gardens where just around the corner.. the horror! :yawn

As I had a chuckle over the title of the story, I spotted another dino sticking his head out of the wood.. Rupert Murdochs company and NBC Universal had picked up the speed on their alternative to youtube and a launch set for this summer.

So here we have a “murder” snail thats not wanted, and a greedy man that wants more..

They both looked sad to me, so I decided to make the 30th of march; Kiss the Dino Day(KDD).

The first contribution to this celebration follows;

Now, bring out the mockups & make this a proper celebration!
